Who
are they?
A rehabilitation centre.
Mission :
To offer specialized rehabilitation services to alcoholics, drug
addicts, and also pathological gamblers, on an internal and external
basis.
Equipped with dynamic and specialized staff.
Our Team:
We offer quality services that are a necessity for the implication
sustained by a multidisciplinary team. We also have personal administration
and support. Our multidisciplinary team are made up by: a doctor,
a nurse, a psychologists, teachers, agents from human relations
and clinic counsellors. This team is trained and attentive to meet
the needs of people who suffer from substance abuse or who have
gambling problems.
Our Clientele:
Our clientele is composed of people who suffer from alcohol and
drug abuse and also people with gambling problems who require service
in rehabilitation or who need help with social reintegration. Our
clientele can be divided into three categories: adults and seniors,
youth, and finally, the surrounded members.
L’Escale gives first priority to youth and pregnant women.
The people who require orientation on in-house treatment (de-tox
centre), the clientele aged between 14-17 years are referred to
the specialized resources within the region, (Les Centres Jean Lapointe
pour adolescents, Portage, etc.). The people who suffer from gambling
problems are oriented to the existing resources in Quebec, (La Montée,
Maison l’Odyssée for compulsive gamblers, etc.).
Anglophone Clientele:
The minister of Health and Social Services are designed to respond
to the demands of drug additions services for the Anglophone population
of Quebec. In our region, Le Pavillon Foster is an establishment
that is designed to respond to the needs of detoxification and in
internal rehabilitation. For the people whom need external support,
we assume responsibility for the territory or if there is a concentration
of English speaking people.

Our principal directors, La Fédération Québébcoise
des Centre de Réadaptation pour Personne et autres Toxicomanes
(FQCRPAT), assures that our orientations consists of organized services
and that our operations are satisfactory, to fulfill our mission.
